Karen Mattson
Community Leader

My name is Karen Mattson and I live in Providence Village, TX with my six year old son, Gabriel. I am currently the Community Leader for Lovepacs Aubrey.  I am in my second year of leadership but have been volunteering, assisting and donating to Lovepacs Aubrey for more than four years.

I am extremely grateful for this opportunity to serve my community in this position. It has always been my life goal to find a place in this world where I can connect God’s PLAN to My PASSION and find PURPOSE in a way that makes a difference. Lovepacs is that place for me!

I feel that my job is to promote Lovepacs in such a manner that it creates a passion in others to serve their community, to cultivate a habit in their families for cheerful giving and generate a path of empathy and grace. In my spare time, I enjoy working out, gardening, painting, socializing, cocktails, cooking and spending time with my happy, hyper, whole-hearted kiddo.  I ain’t fancy but I am fun!

I’m excited about this upcoming school year and have been working feverishly with our Lovepacs Team to make sure food-insecure children are not forgotten and are continuously fed.  I feel so privileged to be able to walk alongside these fine people and represent an organization that values their volunteers, engages their communities, puts positive intention in everything they do and assumes that every hungry child is their responsibility. I am truly blessed!
