Lovepacs provides mostly non-perishable, easy to open, and minimal cooking food items, both meals and snacks. In addition, we provide school counselors with stocked snack closets they may distribute to children who demonstrate a need.
Lovepacs primarily serves children during extended school breaks when the food they receive from the local backpack program will not be enough. (E.g. Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Winter Break, Spring Break, Easter). The school counselors also communicate with us when they are in need of specific items at additional times.
For confidentiality reasons, those involved directly with Lovepacs cannot deliver the boxes. Some of the schools choose to either have parents pick up from school or personally deliver the Lovepacs themselves. Other schools choose to take advantage of the partnership we have with the local police and fire departments, who deliver many of our boxes to the child's residence.

During various drives throughout the year we need individuals who are willing to sort, count, shelve, and pack inventory. Please stay in contact with us through our Facebook page and through our web page for dates and times.
